Mój pierwszy Linux ponad 10 lat temu to był Slackware i było hardkorowo  . Teraz np. Ubuntu to pełnoprawny system, ale mnie ciągnie do czegoś z BSD. Polecicie coś?

Nie wiem OpenSUSE, Kubuntu, LMDE można polecić na start aby było łatwo, a później? Goły Debian, Arch i po tym to już ciężko coś zmieniać. Ponad rok na Arch i nie widzę sensu zmieniać, od paru miesięcy nic się nie wysypało z oficjalnego repo. Na początek coś stabilnego aby nie tracić nerwów, później to człowiek potrafi 1 komendą system naprawić często, więc nic nie jest straszne

Ja ostatnio na lapa wrzucałem na drugi dysk Debiana stable i powiem Wam że... to jednak daje radę.
Ubuntu jest co prawda gotowe od razu, ale ustawiając Debiana można się sporo nauczyć, a na dodatek mamy system stabilny jak skała.

Pozwolę sobie jeszcze zapytać o kilka rzeczy:
1: Sanboxie, czy jest jakiś "zamiennik"? i czy jest potrzebny
2: Zainstalowałem Adobe Air, w sumie się zastanawiam po co?
3: czy zamiast: BleachBit nie wystarczy: sudo apt-get autoclean, sudo apt-get clean, sudo apt-get autoremove,sudo apt-get update
4: mam zainstalowany: chkrootkit, dlaczego nie mogę wykonać następnego skanowania tym poleceniem:

Bleachbit to jak CCleaner dla Windowsa. Posiada trochę więcej możliwości, ale jest też dużo bardziej niebezpieczny. Sam wybierz co wolisz, bezpieczeństwo czy "czystość" systemu. lordzik napisał(a):4: mam zainstalowany: chkrootkit, dlaczego nie mogę wykonać następnego skanowania tym poleceniem:

Nadmienie tylko że apt-get służy do pobierania i instalacji pakietów(nazwa apt-advanced package tool) program uruchamia się wpisując jego nazwe i poprzedzając sudo gdy program wymaga uprawnień roota.
Pozatym nie polecam używania wbudowanego aktualizatora tylko z terminala:
sudo apt-get update - aktualizacja listy pakietów
sudo apt-get upgrade -aktualizacja pakietów
Wynikiem się nie przejmuj widać czegoś nie znaleziono
1. aptitude lepsiejszy.
2. Dla leniwych - synaptic.

Panowie mam pytanie zrobiłem backup programem Redo Backup podejrzałem pliki które są w kopii i nie bardzo widzę żeby były te które mnie interesują, pojawiło się np chromium które zainstalowałem na chwilę i wywaliłem, może popełniłem jakiś błąd przy robieniu kopii chociaż to wątpliwe bo to kliknij i kopiuj , nieważne pomyślałem żeby przekopiować cały katalog home na pendrive i tak się zastanawiam czy przekopiowanie tego katalogu na nowy system przywróci mi go do chwili obecnej (czyli pierdoły które mam doinstalowane swoje ustawienia itp.)?

Tak można tak zrobić. Ja mam taki skrypt to rsync co robi kopię /home z pominięciem pierdół. Pendrive musi być sformatowany w ext4 aby zachowały się uprawnienia, inaczej będzie bagno

Przecież jest pełno styli pod GTK, które bez problemu współpracują z MATE. Reszta ustawień to już kwestia gustu, ale większość jest do ustawienia.

Polecam, na początek na pewno lepiej zacząć z nim zabawę niż czystym FreeBSD.
