A szkoda , bo ten producent przez to jest postrzegany jako średniowieczny i toporny.

Praktycznie brak polskiego oddziału jako takiego.
Popularny program nie znaczy skuteczny.
McAfee mógłby miec naprawde wielu uzytkownikoww PL.

Ratatui: Przede wszystkim ma nie najlepszy w Polsce piar. Przypomnijcie sobie, co mówiono tu na forum dwa lata temu o F-Secure, a był tak samo skuteczny jak dziś. Wtedy królowała Avira i ESET. Jeden pieniacz z Częstochowy (najstarsi forumowicze pamiętają, jak się awanturował) sprawił, że część osób uwierzyła w ESET-a., którego był niemal wyznawcą

Aktualnie w programie można zmienic ustawienie firewalla na tryb ukrywania oraz wyłączyć decyzje automatyczne. Pyta wtedy o dostęp do sieci. Ogólnie mcafee jest full automatem. Ja myślę, że im średnio zależy na czołowych miejscach w testach na paczkach.

Już wyjaśniam - Nie ma problemu z zakupem np Eseta. Po krótkim wdrożeniu można połapać się i w produktach i zasadach licencjonowania uwzględniający nawet skrajne przypadki typu - mam 4 licencje NODa na pół roku, i 2 Smarta ważne jeszcze 3 miesiąca. Chcę z tego zrobić 10 licek Smarta ale przy okazji na serwer.I nie ma problemu
Co innego z McAfee - tam trzeba znać numer ENAI klienta, jego dane, każdorazowo pytać się u dostawcy "ile będzie kosztować" i czekać nierzadko cały dzień. A klient mówi - zrobi Pan mi wycenę na już...i co zrobić?
Tyle jeśli chodzi o biznesowe licencje.
SOHO i te w sieciówkach - to co innego. Nie kłopot zakupić na magazyn setkę boxów, przykleić cenę i czekać aż się same sprzedadzą. Nie ma też problemów takich jakie opisałem wyżej.
Podobnie z preinstalowanym AV na gotowych maszynach. Sąsiad mój miał na lapku TrendMicro i co z tego wynika? Nic Producenci hardware nie patrzą (w dużej większości przypadków) na to czy coś jest popularne, znane czy dobre - bardziej ważne są warunki handlowe, czy coś muszą dorzucić do interesu czy ktoś daje im coś za frajer..wystarczy, że będzie jakaś wzmianka o jakimś sofcie.

A dawno nic nie pisałem heh

Chciałbym trochę "naprawić " to co wcześniej napisałem o pomocy technicznej w Polsce. Otóż cos się zmieniło.
Technicy na zgłoszenie poprzez mail problemu z False positive zareagowali po 30 minutach następująca informacją:
Wyglada na to, ze Pana problem jest bardziej skomplikowany i z tego powodu zaproponowalibysmy bezposrednia interwencje z naszej strony poprzez zdalna kontrole nad Pana komputerem /remote control/.

Uprzejmie prosze napisac do nas czy zgadza sie Pan na takie rozwiazanie problemu oraz podac godziny, w ktorych pasowaloby Panu, abysmy przejeli kontrole nad Pana komputerem /Poniedzialek-Piatek 14-17/. Interwencja moze zajac kolo godzine. Oczywiscie bedzie mial Pan podglad na wszystko co sie dzieje na Pana komputerze

Prosze potwierdzic czy numer +48 *** jest poprawny i aktualny, poniewaz jak dzwonie do Pana sie wlacza poczta glosowa.

Pomoc techniczna pewna , reagujaca i na najwyzszym poziomie.
Wcześniej gdy chciało się coś załatwić nalezało pisac na angielskim czacie, teraz firma chyba <mam nadzieję> zaczyna na powaznie działać w Polsce.

I dobrze, czym większa konkurencja tym lepsza jakośc usług.

-czas usunięca false positive nawet 1,5 miesiąca (plików w analizach jest tak dużo)

QuickClean has been redesigned with improved user experience and richly integrated within the MSC.

Smart Timer Control:

Users can now enable/disable the Smart Timer function if so desired. The Smart Timer is used to establish the machines current usage and activity, then determine whether or not to perform operations such as scheduled scanning.

Improved Windows 7 Feature Adoption:

Product allows user to perform right-click scan on folders. With WS 12.0 release, user can perform right-click scan on Windows 7 libraries as well.

Option for Full Un-Install:

Un-installation of the product will provide user with an additional option to perform complete and clean un-install. This option is useful in situations where user will not be re-installing McAfee product again on the same system.
