CyberCapture i inni - nowości od Avasta
#1
Zmiany dotyczą produktów Free Antivirus, Pro Antivirus, Internet Security i Premier, a obejmują zasadniczo dwa zagadnienia:
- polepszenia wydajności i redukcji obciążenia systemu

Cytat:Avast CyberCapture basically replaces the old Avast DeepScreen which used the NG virtualization technology. At least it replaced it in the Avast settings where DeepScreen it not available anymore. Also the pop-up notification is very similar to the one from the original DeepScreen.

CyberCapture is something like enhanced analysis of the executed file in the Avast cloud. Every time you launch an application/file which is unknown to Avast database, it will be automatically send to Avast Threat Labs and analyzed in the cloud to make sure it’s not hidden malware. Once confirmed the application is clean, you may run it.

If you find Avast CyberCapture annoying, for any reason, you can simply disable it from Settings » General » Un-check ‘Enable CyberCapture‘.

So, you're leaving out P2P, e-mails and USB sources entirely. Very bad policy. VERY BAD. And it's kinda becoming a tradition with avast!.  Awesome new feature released and then you start digging and you realize it's once again limited to a very specific narrow scope of potential malware. Why are you guys doing this all the freaking time?  :-\

It's almost hard to be enthusiastic anymore about new technology in avast! because I can already tell you this won't really have a noticeable impact on end user protection. It's again just a trend that keeps repeating and I very much want you guys to finally prove me wrong...
