Moje pierwsze podejrzenia były podobne (co do transient cache i pamięci RAM) ale z drugiej strony nie jestem pewny czy on tego sobie mimo wszystko co jakis czas gdzieś nie zrzuca na dysk, bo np. w momencie gdy komputer nie jest restartowany i jest podłaczony tylko do wewnętrznej sieci to taka codzienna praca mogłaby znacząco wpłynąc na jego wydajność - szczegolnie że Avast ma wpisane dość małe wymagania systemowe co do ilości pamięci (zaledwie 256MB).
Uźyte w opisie transient caching słowo "memory" jest w jakimś stopniu sugerujące ale może też być mylące bo występuje też w innej wersji opisu dotyczacego persistent cache:

I found a solution for it:
1/ uninstall all unecessary components: just leave file AV and web shield and ... less is better. Avast firewall can cause the problem
2/ turn off Transient caching in advanced menu (I dont remember exactly the place in menu)
